About Wool Rush

Overview

Wool Rush is a team-based objective event where two teams fight to control the center of the arena. The goal is to place your team’s wool color in the middle while stopping the enemy team from doing the same.

The event is less commonly hosted than some other team events, but it rewards fast pushes, good defense, and clean objective control. Winning is not only about fighting enemies; your team must also protect the placed wool and prevent the other side from replacing it.

How to Play

At the start of each round, both teams spawn on opposite sides of the arena. When the round begins, players rush toward the center objective.

Your team needs to place its own wool color in the center. Players from the opposite team can break your placed wool and replace it with their own, so the center can change hands quickly during a round.

The arena includes dangerous gaps, and lava is deadly. While rushing the objective is important, careless movement can eliminate you or give the enemy team an easy chance to take control.

Round Format

Wool Rush is played as a best-of-three event. Each round is a separate fight for center control.

Winning one round gives your team progress toward the event win, but the match is not over until one team wins two rounds. This means a team can lose the first round and still recover by winning the next two.

Because each round matters, teams need to reset quickly, adjust their strategy, and avoid repeating the same mistakes.

Win Condition

The winning team is the first team to win two rounds.

To win a round, your team must successfully control the center objective with your team color. Since enemy players can break and replace wool, teams need to both place their own wool and defend it long enough to secure the round.

Tips

Rush the center quickly, but do not ignore the gaps. Lava can punish careless movement just as much as enemy players.

Protect your team’s wool after placing it. If everyone leaves the objective, the enemy team can break it and replace it with their own.

Break enemy wool whenever you get the chance. Even if you cannot place your own immediately, removing their control can help your team recover.

Work with teammates instead of pushing alone. One player can place wool while others defend, pressure enemies, or block enemy access to the center.

Pay attention after losing a round. Since Wool Rush is best of three, adapting between rounds can be the difference between losing quickly and making a comeback.

Common Mistakes

One common mistake is rushing straight into the center without watching the lava gaps. A fast start helps, but falling early can leave your team outnumbered.

Another mistake is placing wool and immediately running away. The enemy team can break it if no one stays nearby to defend.

Players also often focus too much on fighting and forget the objective. Eliminating enemies helps, but the round is won by controlling the center with your team color.
