TNT Tag

Overview ​

TNT Tag is a classic Minecraft minigame that perfectly translates the mechanics of tag and hot potato into an explosive, fast-paced survival challenge. It's often confused with TNT Run, but is vastly different in playstyle.

How to Play ​

Each round a random set of players are chosen as "taggers", they will have to pass on the TNT to a player who isn't already carrying one. Players are outlined with a glowing effect so hiding is near impossible.

Round by Round ​

Each round, the surviving players are gathering in the spawn (often middle) again, with new taggers being selected. A rinse and repeat until 2 players remain and it turns into a 1v1.

Tips ​

All players are outlined with a glowing effect, hiding is most likely near impossible. Parkouring to certain spots can slow down any taggers persuing and allow a brief break. Distancing also carries a large weight, as the glow effect is restricted by chunk loaded and render distance. Keep in mind that taggers gets a small speed boost.
