Grinch Simulator

Overview ​

Grinch Simulator is a Seasonal Event where players explore a festive map and collect as many presents as possible before time runs out. The event is more relaxed than most PvP-focused events, but still rewards fast movement, good routing, and strong map awareness.

The goal is to search the arena efficiently, find presents before other players do, and keep collecting until the round ends. Players who learn the map and avoid wasting time between locations have the best chance of finishing with the highest score.

How to Play ​

At the start of the event, players spawn into the map and begin searching for presents. Presents can be found across the arena, often inside buildings, around decorations, or in smaller hidden areas.

Your goal is to collect as many presents as possible before the timer ends. Since other players are also searching the same map, moving quickly and choosing a good route can make a big difference.

Instead of staying in one area for too long, keep moving through the map and check places that other players might miss. The more efficiently you search, the more chances you have to build a strong score.

A few players will become "grinches", they are given a speed and jump boost, and a compass to the nearest present, more players will be given this role as the round progresses.

Summer Heist Version ​

A summer-themed version of this event, called Summer Heist, is planned but has not been released yet.

Summer Heist follows the same general idea of searching the map and collecting valuable items, but with a summer-style theme instead of the holiday Grinch Simulator theme. More details may be added once the version is officially released.

Win Condition ​

The winner is the player with the highest score when the event ends. Scores are based on how many presents or event items the player collects during the round.

If the match is close, the winner is usually decided by routing, movement efficiency, and finding areas that other players overlooked.

Tips ​

Start moving immediately when the round begins. Early presents can be taken quickly, so a fast start helps you avoid falling behind.

Search buildings and corners carefully, but do not spend too long in one spot. If an area looks empty, move on and keep your route active.

Try to remember where presents commonly appear. Learning the map makes future rounds much easier and helps you collect faster.

Avoid following large groups of players. If several players are searching the same area, there may be fewer presents left for you.

Use quiet or less obvious paths when possible. Hidden rooms, side areas, and less crowded routes can often give you better results than the most obvious locations.

Common Mistakes ​

One common mistake is staying in the same area after most of the presents have already been collected. Once a section looks cleared, it is usually better to move somewhere else.

Another mistake is following other players too closely. If someone reaches each location before you, they may collect the presents before you get there.

Players also often ignore smaller corners or hidden spaces. Grinch Simulator rewards careful searching, and overlooked areas can sometimes decide the final score.
